Introducing Dasani – the water with added, er, protein

Revealed: Coca Cola's secret ingredient

Coca Cola is to be applauded for introducing enhanced water in the form of Dasani - a "cool, vibrant, refreshingly blue" improvement on the original.

About time too. Water was always a tasteless, lacklustre product; dangerous to small children when stored in ponds and swimming pools and required in huge amounts for putting out the smallest of fires.

Well, Coca Cola's Dasani now gives you more: no calories, fat or sodium, that's true, but it does appear to have a secret ingredient which would appeal to the Claire Swire market.

To find out what it is, readers are invited to go to the Dasani homepage, click on "downloads" and then roll the mouse over the exuberant young lady pictured there. Text on the left of the screen will promptly reveal where she gets all that energy from - lots and lots of protein.

You see? And, just in case Coca Cola has pulled this howler by the time you get to enjoy it in the flesh, we've thoughtfully done a screengrab for your viewing pleasure:

Revealed: How a young girl gets her protein

This certainly affirms Coca Cola's claim that Dasani is "vitally refreshing and abundantly available" and that you should "enjoy it at home, at the gym, at work and in between" because it's a "way of everyday life".

Girls - we advise you to get you laughing gear round some Dasani at the earliest opportunity. ®
